Michaels is an independent café owned by Thanasis Michael, which first opened its doors back in 2017 and specializes in organically grown, high-quality, ethically sourced coffee beans and crafts a wide variety of contemporary coffee beverages. We are committed to serve the highest quality coffee in the industry and to give back to our communities and customers.
We want to influence people’s lives with kindness and solidarity and lead by example through our passion. Giving is something that comes naturally in our culture and we will continue to do so and inspire others to follow our path.
At Michaels, we are constantly looking for ways to give back to community. We are working closely with a range of local charities including:
- 42nd Street, who are helping young people in Greater Manchester with difficulties with their mental health and emotional well-being.
- Centre Point, provides housing and support for young people in England.
- The Lebanese Red Cross following the inconceivable explosion in Beirut, Michaels donated £1 for every bottle of water purchased at the cafe.
- NHS employees during the pandemic received a 15% discount on all of our beverages
